The Quick Start, or Getting Started, Checklist is a roadmap to setting up and building your web site. Follow the steps below and you will be well on your way to a successful web site.
Keep in mind that there is more than one way to do anything with Expression Web 3. There is a lot of redundancy built into the software, as there is with most software programs. I am merely presenting what I think is the easiest way. If I included every possible option, you would leave this site with your head spinning in confusion. The Steps
- 1. Set up an empty Web Site
- 2. Set the Doctype
- 3. Make a Blank Web Page
- 4 Make an External Style Sheet and link it to the Web Page
- 5. Change the Style Application Mode to Manual
- 6. Start Designing the Web Page
- 7. Save it as a Dynamic Web Template (.dwt or DWT)
