Expression Web 3: Lighten up the Interface
Well, I found a way that you can use your current Windows Settings, and this will lighten the interface. For me, it was way too light. However, I know many of you may prefer a lighter background. So give this a whirl.
With Expression Web 3 Open,
Step 1: Click 'Tools'
Step 2: Choose 'Application Options'
Step 3: Check the box to "Use Your Current Windows Color Scheme"

If you still find that your EW 3 Interface is too dark, then I would suggest trying to adjust your Windows Appearance Settings (click control panel) by choosing a theme with a lighter color. Then, go back into EW 3 and try again.
I found that checking the box to use Windows color scheme made my EW 3 Interface way too white. But, everyone has their own preference and depending upon your age and the condition of your vision, a very dark background may cause too much strain on your eyes.
Hey, I'm not infering that all my viewers are old.... but, the fact remains, most of my viewers are in fact 35-55, and the rest are older and only a few are younger (based upon YouTube.com Demographics of Viewers watching my videos). Don' worry, I'm getting up there too!!
